About the film:
Wonder Women! The Untold Story of American Superheroines traces the fascinating evolution and legacy of Wonder Woman. From the birth of the comic book superheroine in the 1940s to the blockbusters of today, Wonder Women! looks at how popular representations of powerful women often reflect society's anxieties about women's liberation.

About Community Cinema:
Community Cinema is a groundbreaking public education and civil engagement initiative featuring monthly screenings of films from the Emmy Award-winning PBS series Independent Lens.  Every month between September and June, Community Cinema brings together leading organizations, community members and public television stations to learn, discuss, and get involved in today’s critical social issues.
