About Katie Wirsing:
Katie Wirsing has performed as the opening act for The Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, and AquaGirl, a queer woman’s festival, as well as being the poetic voice on a national commercial. Katie has taken her brand of storytelling from coast to coast; proving her fluency in the language of living is universally appreciated. Her topics range anywhere from gender and love to jello wrestling and her grandmother’s love of hot dogs.

About Rudy Francisco:
Rudy Francisco is the 2009 National Underground Poetry Slam Champion, the 2010 San Diego Grand Slam Champion, the 2010 Individual World Poetry Slam Champion, and is starring in season 2 of TV One's "Verses and Flow." He is the co-host of the largest poetry venue in San Diego and has featured at countless venues, colleges and showcases across the nation. He has won the hearts of many with the honesty, vulnerability and conviction in his words. Rudy uses poetry to unapologetically peals back his layers and then offers his life experience to the audience.
